A writer friend and I were talking at ALA one year when she said that she was worried that she hadn't been able to write for some time. (Life got in the way, which it often does)
I patted her on the back and reminded her that at this point she was simply inputting experiences into her brain and eventually the brain will do things with it and out will come another writing project or story.

Oh, Wendie, I hope you're right! I do have one thing, though, among a whole host of other things to grab my attention: I need to do more work on turning my master's thesis (USF St. Petersburg, 2015) into a book. And I have a new book project involving my housemates at FSU in the mid 1960s. Many of us have kept in touch over 50 years via a newsletter gathered and published via e-mail by one of our group. One old roomie and I are doing this; the roomie is my organizational and planning director -- two areas in which I need help! She is also a former librarian, recently retired. Librarians FTW!
