Here are a few pictures of me in full throttle, doing a school visit as an author at Arnold Elementary School in Arnold Maryland in 2007. With any luck, this link should take you to a web page that shows more of this visit.
Thanks to Jan Smith, the Library Media Specialist, for creating this web page. (and for taking me to lunch at a great riverside restaurant.)
(If anyone can tell me how to put pictures into the middle of these messages, instead of them all piling up at the top , I'd appreciate it.) -wendieO

Hey, you're very photogenic, Wendie! And how cool that the librarian made this page. Nifty! Glad the talk went well.
That's amazing that you said I'm photogenic -- since I spent the major portion of my life breaking cameras. In fact, it took me many years before I managed to get a fairly decent author picture for my publicity. Obviously I'm a late bloomer -- very late.
thanks for the complement. -wendieO
I just wandered into your blog from seeing you on the BRG blog. Thanks for sharing the photos--it looks like a good time was had by all!
I've been wondering about the pictures in the middle of the post thing, too. I haven't figured it out yet, but if I do, I'll let you know!
Wendie, I just found this link about how to manipulate where the pictures go inside your post. I hope I can figure it out... maybe it'll help you, too.
